Giant Dragonfly

The Giant Dragonfly - titled the Winged Terror - is an insect boss whose defining mechanic is its brood. Through the Broodswarm passive, it periodically calls in 3-5 Dragonfly hollows during the fight, so you are rarely fighting it alone.

Its documented arena is in the Soul Society Outskirts: other community documentation places the Karate trainer on a ledge above this boss and one of the Masked Warrior's spawn points outside the cave below it, anchoring it firmly in that region.

The moveset is compact but punishing for careless positioning. Tail Sweep is a spinning double sweep that knocks back anyone it clips. Ground Slam sees the dragonfly rise up and crash down in a quick area-of-effect slam, knocking back everyone nearby. The real threat is Mandible Grab: after a long windup it seizes a target in its jaws, and the grab is both unblockable and unparryable - dodging the windup is the only counter.

Rewards are documented as the Swarm charm as a direct drop, plus 2 Soul Society Outskirts Chests. Level requirements and spawn timing for this boss are not listed in the current community documentation.
