The Masked Warrior
The Masked Warrior is a three-phase scheduled world boss in VV: Ultimatum that spawns in the Soul Society Outskirts every odd hour at :20 EST, activating his Shikai at the end of phase one and surrendering to his inner Hollow in the final phase.
The Masked Warrior is a fugitive of unknown origin: he wears Shinigami robes without any allegiance to the Soul Society, plus a fur cape strung with Hollow masks. According to community documentation he is running from something - and whatever follows him is what puts the Soul Society Outskirts in danger.
He spawns in the Soul Society Outskirts every odd hour at :20 EST (1:20, 3:20, and so on), at one of three documented locations: the bridge between Nebukai and Mizuki Sato, the stairs leading to the Precipice, or outside the cave below the Giant Dragonfly.
The fight has three stages. In his base phase he borrows player moves from the Strength and Speed skill trees (Skyscraper, Heavy Kick, Flash Skewer, Flash Surprise) alongside two signature attacks: Poised Slash, a hyperarmor slash with low-medium damage, and Slicing Dropkick, a cleave that flows into a fast kick. When he falls to 3 bars he activates his Shikai, gaining a large health refill and switching his weapon to a Greatsword.
Reaching 3 bars a second time triggers the Masked Phase: his inner Hollow takes over, granting another health refill and Getsuga-style attacks - Getsuga Tensho (crumples), Getsuga Imbued Slashes (knockback) and Getsuga Jujisho (knockback, after which he teleports to you). All three hit with high damage, high posture damage and hyperarmor, but Tensho and Jujisho stagger the boss when parried. His drops are not documented in the current source.

Phase one
The Masked Warrior fights with Strength and Speed skill-tree moves - Skyscraper, Heavy Kick, Flash Skewer and Flash Surprise - plus two signature attacks. Poised Slash is blockable, parryable and dodgeable but carries hyperarmor, dealing low-medium damage and posture damage. Slicing Dropkick cleaves and transitions into a fast, impactful kick with similar low-medium values.
Shikai and Masked phases
At 3 bars he activates his Shikai: a large health refill and a weapon swap to a Greatsword. Bringing him to 3 bars a second time triggers the Masked Phase, where his inner Hollow takes control and he gains another health refill plus new moves.
Masked Phase attacks: Getsuga Tensho (high damage and posture damage, hyperarmor, crumples, staggers the boss when parried), Getsuga Imbued Slashes (high values, hyperarmor, knockback) and Getsuga Jujisho (high values, hyperarmor, knockback - he teleports to you afterwards; staggers the boss when parried).
