Raid Boss
Tier 3Raid Boss is a Tier 3 Spirit Charm in VV: Ultimatum that grants stacking "battle fever" for every nearby enemy - up to 10 stacks of defense, damage, and escalating bonus effects - but punishes fighting alongside allies.
Raid Boss is the outnumbered-fight charm, with the longest flavor text in the charm roster - a full paragraph about feeling no wounds while enemy swords "move so slowly, and you can dance through them, laughing." Mechanically it runs on battle fever: you gain a stack for every nearby enemy and lose a stack for every nearby ally, up to 10 stacks.
Each stack grants 5% incoming defense and 3% more damage, both increasing up to 3.5 times, and thresholds unlock signature effects borrowed from other charms: at 3 stacks a weaker Curtain Call (lifesteal on basics), at 4 stacks immunity to movement slows, at 5 stacks your lifesteal doubles at 30%, and finally at 7 stacks your basic attacks periodically proc Perfect Flash. Fully stacked, you genuinely fight like the raid boss of the lobby.
The counterweight is anti-teamplay in both directions: allies drain your stacks, and when your battle fever is empty with allies nearby, you take 18% more damage. This is a solo player's charm for invasions, gank defense, and outnumbered PvP - dragging it into group content actively hurts you. It requires Level 35; its zone and source are not documented in current captures.
