Capturing Eleons & Item Types

Eleons are captured using Plates - the game's equivalent of a pokeball - supported by an item economy of evolution items, ability items, key items and battle consumables.

Plates are the confirmed capture item class. The name in community circulation for at least one tier is the Hexaplate - a term used matter-of-factly in official-forum discussion (a popular suggestion thread describes corrupted creatures that 'can't be captured in a Hexaplate'), implying the community already knows it from official sneak peeks.

Beyond capture, community wikis compiled four item categories from the game's revealed material: Plates for catching, Evolution Items for evolving, Key Items for story and side-quest progression, and Ability Items that teach specific moves.

A code-redemption system also already exists in the game's settings menu - with zero active codes, as expected for an unreleased game.

Capture: what we know

The core loop is classic: explore the regions, weaken wild Eleons in turn-based battle, and capture them with Plates to fill out the Eleonpedia - the in-game dex tracking the 300+ species promised at launch. Each species has its own spawn points per the developers' descriptions, so capture is location-driven rather than fully random.

Unconfirmed: the full ladder of Plate tiers (only the Hexaplate name has surfaced publicly), catch-rate mechanics, whether status effects or HP thresholds affect capture, and any craftability of Plates. Some early community notes also referred to disk-shaped capture devices; we could not verify that terminology against any primary source, so this wiki uses the Plate naming exclusively.

The wider item economy

Evolution Items are confirmed as a category - certain Eleons will need them to evolve - and they are listed among rewards from the confirmed timed-quest system (hourly, daily and weekly quests, alongside battle consumables). Specific item names, including any stone-style materials, are unannounced.

Ability Items (move-teaching, TM-style) and Key Items (story gates) round out the known categories. Nothing official yet on held items, crafting, or a currency structure beyond the scrapped battle pass - monetization details other than that February 2026 removal remain unannounced.

FAQ

How do you catch Eleons?

With Plates, the game's capture device - the Hexaplate is the one tier name that has surfaced publicly. Weaken a wild Eleon in battle, then capture it to register it in your Eleonpedia.

Are there evolution items in Eleons?

Yes - Evolution Items are a confirmed category needed to evolve certain species, and confirmed timed quests reward them. Specific item names are not yet announced.

Does Eleons have codes?

A redeem-codes option exists in the settings menu, but no active codes exist because the game is unreleased. Codes will be tracked on this wiki from launch.
