Shark

Rare (9.0%)

Shark is a Rare Arrancar element in VV: Ultimatum, rolled from the 9.0% bracket, that floods the arena with water puddles applying the 'Wet' slow and unleashes summoned sharks through Shark Bomb.

Shark is a battlefield-control Resurreccion built on puddles. Graceful Dive (Ctrl + M1) plunges you into the ground for minuscule damage, leaves 3 puddles, and lets you travel underground; after a few seconds - or on recast - you erupt with a slash that ragdolls enemies into the air and spawns 3 more puddles. The Resurreccion passive gives every puddle teeth: opponents who touch water receive the Wet status, lowering their movement speed, with further effects unlockable through upgrades.

The form's Ctrl + M2 adapts to range. Up close it is Tide Sever, a quick water-dash slash that spawns 2 puddles. While underground in Graceful Dive it becomes Shark Bomb (Aerial) - you leap out from below with a summoned shark that blasts the area in front, crumpling opponents and spawning 2-3 puddles. At far range, Shark Bomb summons a shark underneath you and dashes you to your cursor, spawning puddles on use and on hit.

Upgrades convert wet enemies into resources: 1.2x damage against Wet targets, shark moves that eat the opponent's Reiatsu, faster Reiatsu regeneration while you stand on puddles, and bleeding shark hits. The Blood In The Water variant (7%) makes all shark-related attacks more damaging at the cost of longer cooldowns and higher Reiatsu costs, recoloring the water blood-red and the moves red.

Partial Resurreccion moveset

Graceful Dive (Ctrl + M1) dives into the ground, hitting for minuscule damage and leaving behind 3 puddles before you move underground. After a few seconds, or on recast, you jump out with a slash that ragdolls enemies into the air and spawns 3 more puddles.

Resurreccion

Passive: opponents who touch water puddles receive the Wet status effect, lowering their movement speed; upgrades can attach more effects.

Tide Sever (Ctrl + M2, close range) dashes forward quickly, slashing the opponent with water and spawning 2 puddles. Shark Bomb (Aerial) (Ctrl + M2 during Graceful Dive) jumps out from below with a summoned shark, blasting the area in front of you - it crumples opponents and spawns 2-3 puddles. Shark Bomb (Ctrl + M2, far range, in mode) summons a shark underneath you before dashing to your mouse cursor, spawning puddles on use and on hit.

Milestone upgrades

Status Duration: Level 4 deals 1.2x damage to Wet enemies.

Reiatsu Efficiency: Level 3 makes shark moves eat the opponent's Reiatsu; Level 6 increases your Reiatsu regeneration rate while standing on puddles.

Damage: Level 6 makes your sharks inflict bleed.

FAQ

What does the Wet status do?

It lowers the affected enemy's movement speed whenever they touch your water puddles, and with Status Duration Level 4 you also deal 1.2x damage to Wet targets.

How many versions of Shark Bomb are there?

Two contexts: an aerial version fired while underground in Graceful Dive (crumples, spawns 2-3 puddles) and a far-range version that dashes you to your cursor behind a summoned shark.

Is Blood In The Water worth using?

The 7% variant boosts damage on all shark-related attacks but raises their cooldowns and Reiatsu costs - stronger single exchanges, weaker sustained pressure.
